What to feed beach water hermits?
We found lots of water hermit crabs at the beach, and want to keep them alive. What should we feed them?

Tip #1: Take them back to the beach. These hermit crabs are not the same ones you’d find in a pet store, unless you’re looking at one of their big saltwater tanks. These are almost entirely aquatic, marine crabs that need a real saltwater setup with a real filter and real time dedication. You’re not going to be able to keep them alive in any kind of terrarium setup you may have planned.
